About the Role

Job stability is guaranteed; Perth-based salary positions with full-time hours Mon-Fri, including all leave entitlements.

Multiple Full-Time Positions are available as well as Casual positions.

Our warehouse/office is in Malaga. Your own vehicle and trade-specific tools are required upon commencement.

Skills Required

  • All aspects of painting & preparation
  • Experience in all forms of coating
  • Basic plastering skills (preferred not essential)

Qualifications

  • White Card
  • Drives Licence
  • Desirable qualifications are: Working at Heights, First Aid, EWP, Plant Equipment Quals

About the Role

We are seeking carpenters who take pride in their work, have attention to detail, and are committed to providing customer satisfaction alongside high-quality workmanship. This is a salary position, with full-time Mon-Fri hours including all leave entitlements.

Responsibilities

  • First and second fix carpentry duties with the ability to assist with roofing repairs and installation
  • Internal fit-outs, installing fixtures, doors, windows, cabinets, skirting & mouldings
  • Site measures and calculating required materials.
  • Inspect and repair damaged structures and fixtures
  • Interpreting documents and drawings to conduct required projects.
  • Collaborate with project managers and team members to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget
  • Always adhere to safety guidelines and regulations
  • Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition
  • Provide guidance and support to apprentices and less experienced carpenters
  • Strong work ethic with an attitude that strengthens our company’s positive culture.
  • Competent in using online job management systems (training is provided)
  • Welding and fabrication (preferred not essential
  • Providing positive customer service & being well-presented.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Carpenter in the construction industry
  • Proficient in using hand and power tools
  • Strong knowledge of carpentry techniques and methods
  • Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills
  • Physical stamina and ability to work in various weather conditions
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
  • White Card and ability to provide a clear police clearance
